About GiggleName
Our mission is simple: make finding a great name faster, easier and a lot more fun.
What we do
GiggleName is a growing collection of funny names, creative nicknames, usernames, pet names, team names and unique naming ideas. Right now that means 32 hand-written lists and more than 7,300 individual names, and the collection grows every month.
Whether you are naming a new puppy, picking a gamertag, setting up a group chat, or trying to win the trivia night before the first question, we want you to leave with a name you actually like.
Tech and AI
Naming does not stop at pets and group chats. Engineers name variables, services and servers; founders name products; teams name the AI assistants their customers talk to. We cover that side too, with name lists for the things people build and guides on naming in code and naming AI products.
We also publish guest posts from engineers, founders and writers on technology and AI. If you have something worth saying, write for us.
How we write our lists
- Written by people. Every list is drafted and edited by a human who cares about a good pun.
- Sorted by vibe. Lists are split into sections such as cute, cool, punny and savage, so you can jump to the style you want.
- Family friendly. We keep things playful and PG-13. No slurs, no cruelty, nothing you would be embarrassed to say out loud.
- Kept fresh. Popular lists get refreshed with new ideas, and reader requests shape what we write next.
